LUZIA SIMONS
Lives and works in Berlin_Germany

Born in 1953 in Quixadà, Cearà_Brazil, Luzia Simons studied in France (history at the Paris VIII University and visual arts at the Sorbonne) and lives and works in Berlin (Germany).
She regularly exhibits in Europe and Brazil. Her works are shown in numerous collections including: Prints and Drawings Collection of the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart; Kupferstich-Kabinett of Dresden State Art Collections; Fonds National of Contemporary Art, Paris; Fonds Régional of Contemporary Art of Basse-Normandie, Caen; Graphotek of the Public Library, Stuttgart; Art Library of Caen; Casa de las Americas, Havana; Photo Collection Joaquim Paiva, MAM Rio de Janeiro, Pirelli Collection, Museu de Arte of São Paulo.
